Chikmagalur district also know as "Chikkamagaluru" is a tourists paradise in Karnataka. It is home to few of the top hill stations in india. Chikmagalur attracts lot of tourist around the state due to it's pleasant climate, hill stations, western ghats tropical rainforests and tea and coffee estates. District also has 2 wildlife sanctuaries Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and Kudremukh National Park which are tropical wet evergreen type of forest in the Western Ghats.
