Kodachadri is a mountain peak in the Western Ghats, located near Nittur in Shivamogga district of Karnataka, India. it is 10th highest peak of Karnataka. Kodachadri is know as one of the best trekking place in Karnataka. There are different routes to reach the Peak of Kodachadri and the difficulty varies highly with respect to the route chosen. One can also chose a jeep ride service to reach the top of the hill. However it is challenging to reach the peak in monsoon due to heavy rains that make the routes slippery, but to enjoy the natural beauty monsoon season is the best time to visit.
