Pushpagiri also know as Kumara Parvatha is one of the highest peak in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Located near Somwarpet on the borders between Dakshina Kannada , Kodagu and hassan districts. With 5,617 ft, It is 4th highest peak in Karnataka. Hill is part of the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. Pushpagiri is the second highest peak of Kodagu District or Coorg. This beautiful peak is surrounded by forests on all four sides, which makes it heaven for adventure and trekking lovers. Trekking is the major attractions here, one needs to register their names at the checkpoint before starting the trek, however, there is no entry fee, it is highly suggested to hire a guide at Bidahalli or Heggadamane villages for a smooth trekking experience.
