River Sharavathi plunges from a height of 830 feet. It is a segmented waterfall which is one of India's tallest waterfalls and the best waterfalls in Karnataka, Jog Falls is simply a landmark that you cannot miss. Truly a natural wonder. Agumbe is a scenic small village located near Thirthahalli in Shimoga district of Karnataka, India. This hill station is part of the amazing Western Ghats mountain range and it is know for the heavy rainfall, sunset point and trekking. It is also know as "The Cherrapunji of the South" after Cherrapunji, in Northeast India as the Agumbe ghat is covered with mist almost all the time. Kodachadri is a mountain peak in the Western Ghats, located near Nittur in Shivamogga district of Karnataka, India. it is 10th highest peak of Karnataka. Kodachadri is know as one of the best trekking place in Karnataka. There are different routes to reach the Peak of Kodachadri and the difficulty varies highly with respect to the route chosen. One can also chose a jeep ride service to reach the top of the hill. Kavaledurga Fort is one of the ruined fort located near Thirthahalli in Shimoga district of Karnataka, India. This scenic fort is one of the must visit places during monsoons and one of the best places for trekking and photography. Not to be missed is a view from the top of the Fort and the ruins of the main Palace building. There are several monuments and temple inside the Fort Complete which are built during the Keladi dynasty. Fort has three lines of walls and at the center overlooking the western sea is a small temple known as Shikhareshvara or Srikanthesvara temple. Kundadri is a beautiful hill top in the agumbe forest range, located near Agumbe, in Shimoga District of Karnataka, India. Amazing sunrise and sunset can be experienced at this place. Hill top lies 3,200 feet above sea level is less crowded and undisturbed by tourists. A 17th century Jain temple dedicated to Thirthankara is located on the top of the hill and the place is known to have given shelter to one Acharya Kundakunda during earlier centuries. One has to drive half an hour from agumbe to reach this place. . Two small ponds formed by the rock on one side of the temple provided water to earlier sages. The regular Kundari trek route takes you around streams to the dense jungle offering spectacular views. 6 Nagara Fort

Nagara Fort is located in historic village Nagara near Hosanagara in Shimoga district of Karnataka, India. The fort is built on a small hill, beside a lake. Fort is easily accessible as it is located side by the main road in Nagara Village. It is one of the picturesque fort in this area, very nice place for photography and visited by tourists frequently. The fort looks beautiful during monsoon due to the green cover. You can spend about 30-40 mins here. This was called Bidnur earlier and was the last capital city of Keladi rulers. View from the top of the fort is amazing, surrounded by lush greenery, lakes and hills at a distance. The fort has a system to circulate water around it for safety.
