Thalaiyar Falls, also known as Rat Tail Falls is one of the popular waterfall, located in Dindigul District of Tamil Nadu,India. Thalaiyar Falls is located near Kodaikanal in the lush green slopes of Palani Hill ranges . It is 975 ft tall and is the highest waterfall in Tamil Nadu, the sixth highest waterfall in India and the 267th highest in the world. Falls can be seen from the Dum Dum Rock view point on the Batlagundu-Kodaikanal Ghat Road on a bright day.
