Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary is known for its Bengal tigers. and tigers can be easily spotted even in the daytime. Ranthambore is also counted as the famous heritage site because of the pictorial ruins that dot the wildlife park. Ranthambore Fort which is part of the National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan. The Ranthambore Fort is situated inside the Ranthambore National Park which was the hunting grounds for the Maharajas of the Jaipur dynasty. Ranthambore Fort is located at approx 32km from Sawai Madhopur, 190km from state capital Jaipur, 260km from Agra, 380km from New Delhi.
