Lohagarh Fort Overview

Lohagarh Fort is situated at Bharatpur in Rajasthan, India. Lohagarh Fort is also called as Iron Fort as it is referred as one of the strongest ever fort built in Indian history. Monuments in the fort include are Kishori Mahal, Mahal Khas, and Kothi Khas. Moti Mahal and towers like Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj were erected to commemorate the victory over the Mughals and the British army. The Gateway has paintings of huge elephants. Lohagarh Fort is located at approx 58km from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, 188km from Jaipur, 199km from New Delhi.
