Shivaganga waterfalls is one of the lesser known waterfall located near sirsi in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India. Shivaganga waterfall falls from a height of 242 feet from top. Sonda or Shalmala river is the source of the waterfall. Shivaganga Waterfall is a part of the Western Ghats of Karnataka, hidden in thick forestland is located very closely to Sirsi, Ankola and Yellapur Taluks of Uttara Kannada. Its a must visit for trek enthusiastic, one has to trek down for 3km inside dense jungle to reach the waterfall. Shivaganga Falls is located at approx 37km from Sirsi, 64km from Yellapur, 135km from Hubli, 114km from Gokarn, 228km from Goa, 295km from Mangalore, 437km from Bengaluru.
