Historic City of Ahmedabad also called as Old Ahmedabad or walled city of Ahmedabad presents a rich architectural heritage from the sultanate period which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. City was founded by Ahmad Shah I of Gujarat Sultanate in 1411. It remained the capital of the Gujarat Sultanate and later important political and commercial centre of Gujarat. The walled city of Ahmedabad has it all to be the first city in India to be Inscribed in UNESCO's World Heritage City list of 2017.
