Morjim Beach Overview
Morjim Beach is one of the best beaches to visit in North Goa. Morjim beach is also known as 'Little Russia'. It is for the reason that it has a huge settlement of Russian inhabitants. Morjim beach is famous for being the nesting place of the Olive Ridley turtles, which are an endangered species and are thus protected under the Indian law. The 3km long beach is ideal for a long walk and relishing the sunset view. Morjim Beach is located at 13 km away from Mapusa.
