Kesaria Stupa Overview
Kesariya Stupa located in Kesariya, a town in the East Champaran district of Bihar, India is considered to be the tallest (104 feet ) and biggest Buddhist Stupa in the world. This remarkable structure was discovered in 1958 during an excavation. Historical importance of Bihar has been established again with the discovery of this "biggest ever Buddhist Stupa". Located at distance of 22km from Chakia, 40km from Motihari, 55km from Vaishali, 110 km from Patna.
